My stories have appeared in The Financial Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, i-Paper and Geographical, among others. I’m also a contributing editor of the US magazine, Overland Journal, and have written chapters to anthologies such as Lonely Planet’s Flightless, A Girl’s Guide to Travelling Alone and Tough Women.
My focus is on threatened peoples, places and wildlife across Central, South and Southeast Asia and I have written and reported extensively on Northeast India, Tajikistan, Vietnam and Laos. Always on the hunt for the untold and the little-explored, I want to tell stories that hit the sweet spot between making me come alive, whilst also engaging people with the stuff that matters.
A selection of my articles and interviews are linked to below.
I’m based in the Black Mountains, Wales.
